He lives with Richard Bradley and the Patil twin posse, with Padma providing a voice of reason and Parvati conversely doing what she can to drive him to insanity in the guise of helping him. Perhaps due to the aforementioned circumstances, Anthony is a tolerant sort. Just don't post photographs of him shirtless, no matter how (surprisingly) decent he looks in a towel.

A rather sardonic young man, Blaise has the potential to be more sociable than what he actually is, but finds most other people beneath his notice, or at least not worthy of an attempt on his part to become better acquianted with them. Being a Slytherin pureblood neither affliliated with Dumbledore's Army or the Death Eaters, plus at the time possessing enough familial wealth not to make either option appear tempting, during the war he managed mostly to keep his distance from the going-ons and emerged relatively unscathed. The Zabinis managed to hang on to their Galleons during that time of upheveal, only to have Blaise's mother (despondent over the loss of her latest husband and the lack of ability - nature having finally caught up with her - to get a new one) blow it all, so that by 2001 both she and her son found themselves with barely a Sickle to their name. Forced into being responsible for the first time in his life, Blaise took over. He sold as many of their possessions as he could, secretly siphoning away money with the understanding that his mother would spend whatever they saved, and landed his current gig at the Daily Prophet. His official role is assistant reporter, but in reality he is little more than a glorified barrista.

Born twelve years after her nearest sibling, Laura was very much the afterthought as far as her parents were concerned. The unplanned nature of her coming into the world very much the Hippogriff in the middle of the room that no one wanted to speak of, her parents made up for it by spoiling her rotten and giving her an overly inflated sense of her own worth, her father in particular been instrumental in this. Wary of being overshadowed by her potions brewer sister and professional Quidditch player brother, Laura has a work ethic that would do a house elf proud, graduating from Hogwarts with six NEWTs and landing prefect and Head Girl roles in the process. Part of the latter, along with her appointment to a Ministry post not long after sitting her final examinations, might have been as much due to a sympathy vote as anything else. Laura's mother, a Muggleborn who held a senior positon in the Department of Muggle Relations, was incarcerated in Azkaban, something from which she never recovered. This in turn led to a decline in health, and she passed away shortly before Laura's sixth year. Her mother's death led to Laura becoming still closer to her father, someone who is very supportive of her but brings out the more irritating facets of her character. An example of what the end product may have been like if Hermione Granger and Percy Weasley had ever married and procreated, Laura means well, but her high-mannered and condescending way of dispensing advice means that it is often ignored, if not slighted.

He knows nothing about the states of mind called shame and embarrassment, having rarely felt either of the two, and he rarely takes anything seriously - not even his dream job hosting his own late night show at the WWN (evident in the way he disregards Savina Capper's threats of cancellation). She is noted amongst her peers for not caring about houses, (as long as people don't think she's a blood elitist) and for being a big fan of Muggle culture. As well as being Vice-Chair of her father's company, a fact of which she is extremely proud, she runs the Albus Dumbledore Fund in memory of the victims of the Second Voldemort War. You may often find her contemplating mad ideas for a new fundraising adventure.

Padma is something of a workaholic and is just a tad bossy. She's also a perfectionist, practical and hates mess, but she does have a mischievous side and she's very caring towards her friends.

The youngest (by a scant few minutes) daughter of Imran and Lakshmi Patil, two British-born Indians, Parvati was one of the prettiest and most sociable girls during her time at Hogwarts. She had grand schemes of becoming a dress robe designer a la Madam Malkin, but the war and its aftermath put everything on hold. She dabbled in modelling for woman's magazine Witch Weekly for a while, hoping it would get her foot in the door as a designer. What it did get her was more male attention than she could handle (please to be not interpreting this unfortunate wording literally) and even with her modelling days behind her, Parvati's love life is still as intricate as the Black family tree. Recently she was sacked from her job as a waitress at Circe's due to a falling out of such a nature with the owner, and now finds herself Scorgifying the table tops at the Hog's Head. Not all changes have been for the worse though. While it was sometimes hidden under a veneer of pink and glamour charms, Parvati has always been a brave and kind-hearted witch, and the events of the war have helped her realise an emotional depth and strength of character that she always had the potential to. These days she sees herself as something of the Euterpe's Corner den mother, but watch out for her matchmaking tendencies.

Still the typical Ravenclaw Prefect, she is classy and carries herself with refined behaviour that is a relic of her privileged upbringing in Muggle High Society, the daughter of an MP. Sergei Poliakoff, a former Durmstrang Institute student and classmate of Viktor Krum's, had been short-listed though not selected for the Triwizard Tournament. Upon completion of his studies, he had worked briefly in the Bulgarian Ministry of Magic before his job was put in jeopardy due to increasing political unrest in the face of Voldemort's return. Moving to Britain, he found himself in unfavourable competition with native wizards and witches who were more familiar with the environment and language, and not really to his choice, ended up being hired as a caretaker and man-of-all-work after the establishment of Euterpe's Corner. Surly and rather unsociable, Poliakoff speaks with a heavy accent and is somewhat resentful that he is forced to chase out doxies and unplug drains for a living when technically he is rather overqualified for the job. He does sometimes argue with Terence on the tenants' behalf, however. And those tenants who manage to get on his good side typically have any problems with their flats repaired very quickly and well.

Born into an Italian pureblood family, Savina has, does, and possibly always will think that she owns the world. It's not as if she can't afford it. And she's not your friend, no matter how much you may think she is. She will, very seriously, toss you under the bus the moment it will wok in her favour, and she probably won't regret it either. She's evidently selfish, but she's also very proper and a bit od a prude. Toss in the fact that she's at times rude and straightforward and doesn't care much if you like her or not, and you can pretty much guess what she's like in the flesh. However, she's a person of secrecy, often keeping most of her personal matters to herself, but if she's trying to make a point, she has no issue with airing things out for the public to know. Even still, she works in management in the WWN, forcing her to deal with people she wouldn't ordinarily, such as Lee Jordan - who wastes no opportunity to call her "Pouty Lips." At the heart of her, she's a woman with strong familial obligations, which, strangely (or maybe not so much), affect her every word, thought and action.

A scandal of a broken engagement involving a third party has forced her to leave the familiarity of the Muggle world, and so she reluctantly finds herself back in Diagon Alley. Disorganised, catered for and coddled all her life, she doesn't quite understand those who live more hand-to-mouth, but whatever happens (and plenty will), this scatter-brained landlady always does the best she can.
